How often have you spent more than a couple hours feeling down?
The truth is, when we face something upsetting or disappointing and we STAY in that state of negative emotion, we attract more circumstances into our lives that match our negative emotion.
It’s okay to feel sad, to be infuriated, to feel guilt, to be sad…
BUT only for a short time. It’s healthy to feel our emotions and allow ourselves that time. It’s even healthier to step back from the circumstance, view it from above, allow the emotion to pass, and MOVE on.
I’ll say it again…
Never bask in your negative emotion.
Don’t look for people to feel bad for you.
Stop talking about it.
Look at the situation from above, take a deep breath and allow the solutions to come to you from a place of FEELING GOOD.
It won’t last forever. The sun will set, your life will continue, and there will be new beginnings tomorrow.
After all, how we feel about anything is a choice, and we can always change that.
